CHANGING THE NARRATIVE.
If you’re at a point where you know it’s time to get out of debt and start building a better future, check this out!
So, I wonder… many of us are drowning in debt and facing a lot of financial stress but we avoid the subject of money like a plague.
Come to think of it… as a family, you find it difficult to take care of your parents who probably no longer have any source of income
You struggle to pay your bills
Struggle to pay children fees
Cannot effectively support the gospel
And you think we shouldn’t talk about money, especially under the guise that money is evil?
Excuse me friend, while you are shying away from this obvious necessity, the devil and it’s cohorts are using it to draw men unto his kingdom day by day
Wait a minute! Are we not supposed to be the custodian of wealth? Does the earth and it’s fullness not belong to God?
This is why I am taking sometime out to focus on this niche
• Research has shown that financial problems is one of the two(2) top causes of divorce in the world
• The current economic situation has thrown so many people into financial stress
This is why we need to discuss this concept. Money is not evil. Greed is. The love of money is. Ill gotten wealth is. Not being generous is.
Therefore, it’s time we took the bull by the horns.
“He who fights ti run away lives to fight another day.”
We need to become financially free to have more time to do the things that truly matters to us. We need it to further the cause of the gospel and also become of more benefit to our family, neighbours, parents, the needy and the world at large.
Do you know that the concept of possessions and money was referred to over 800 times in the Bible?
Do you also know that modern money principles are repackaged from the Bible?
Despite the availability of divine favors, God is no promoter of laziness and does not even like poverty Himself so He specified guidelines concerning certain things we must do to grow financially.
The Bible actually provides brilliant and timeless financial strategies and God wants us to get it right. That is why It gave us principles on how to go about it.
7 Pro Strategies in Changing the Narrative of Your Finance
1 Honor God
Deut 8:18 Always remember that it is the Lord your God who gives power to become rich, and he does it to fulfill his promise to your ancestors”
2. Go for Knowledge
“Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established. And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. Prov 24:3,4
3. Be Diligent
“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand the diligent maketh rich. Prov 10:4
“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Prov 22:29
“He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. Prov 10:5
5. Multiply with hard work
“ The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the works of your hands. You will lend to nations but will borrow from none.” Deut 28:12
6. Think Big
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he. Prov 23:7a
7. Be Generous:
“The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also.” Prov 11:2
Lastly, lasting wealth with peace of mind comes from God, with consistent discipline in applying these principles, not get-rich-quick schemes.
Stay with me. I’ll be coming your way regularly on this matter because, THE MATTER IS DEEP.
