My Story: Becoming a Mom Blogger, a Story in Many Parts
|My Blogging journey started 4 years ago. During this time, I started 4 blogs, two free and two premium, abandoned 3 out of these 4.
It happened that I was out of job. I resigned from a very lucrative job to join my husband who was in another state after having our first baby.
I started seeking for how to earn some money to support the family because we really needed money as more responsibility’s came with having our baby. I didn’t want to leave the burden on hubby alone.
In my search, I came across the possibility of earning money online. I was thrilled. You mean, I could really make money from the comfort of my home? That was a lightbulb moment for me!
The search began. I started looking for real people actually making money online and behold, I found them. I saw tons of people earning money online even from my own country.
Woohoo! My Eureka moment. If others can, I can and I will. So, the next step was to choose my own vehicle for earning money. I discovered blogging and it resonated well with me. The fact that I could make money while at the same time impact lives was a thriller.
So, the journey began.I have started four blogs since then. I finally settled for this one, moms money zone in January of 2020.
The subject of finance caught my attention because I was a mom who was struggling with finance and I know a lot of mothers have self same challenge.
Blogging is not a get rich quick scheme. It requires a ton of hardwork but if you’re ready to consistently give what it takes, you will see traction with time
Basically, moms money zone started as a journal for documenting my journey to financial freedom and aimed at showing mothers how to do so too.
Well, I am still in the process. I haven’t really earned money from my blog but it gladens my heart that I impact people when they visit my blog and also have a part of me on the internet.
I hope that in the future, I would be able to make substantial full-time money and help other Momma’s do that too.
